Terms of Service

Effective October 5, 2026

These Terms govern your use of the Dinner Found app. By creating an account or using Dinner Found, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use Dinner Found.

Eligibility and your account

You must be able to legally agree to these Terms in your location. You're responsible for your account and for the accuracy of the information you enter.

Account security

Keep your password and login secure. You're responsible for activity from your account. If you think someone used your account without permission, contact Dinner Found and reset your password.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse Dinner Found. For example, don't:

  • •Enter false, harmful, or misleading information.
  • •Submit content that is unlawful, infringes someone else's rights, or is hateful, harassing, or harmful.
  • •Try to access another user's data or disrupt the service.
  • •Use Dinner Found for any commercial purpose other than the features Dinner Found provides.
  • •Reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the service.

Your responsibility for information you enter

You're responsible for the pantry items, family profiles, preferences, dietary restrictions, tweaks, and recipes you enter. Dinner Found uses what you enter to personalize suggestions, so make sure it's accurate — especially dietary restrictions and allergies.

Recipes and meal recommendations

Dinner Found's recipes, meal ideas, and weekly plans are suggestions, not instructions to follow blindly. Ingredients, quantities, and instructions can be wrong. Always review before cooking. See the AI & Recipe Disclaimer and the Food, Dietary & Allergy Disclaimer.

AI-assisted functionality

Some Dinner Found features use AI-assisted systems to generate, personalize, adapt, or rank recipes. These results can contain errors and are not professional advice.

Community recipes and user-generated content

When you submit a recipe to the Community area, you give Dinner Found a license to host, display, adapt, moderate, and remove that content as needed to operate the community. You remain responsible for the content you submit, including that you have the rights to share it. Dinner Found does not professionally or medically verify every community recipe, and community recipes are not presented as reviewed or guaranteed safe. Dinner Found may remove or modify content that violates these Terms or to keep the community usable.

Ownership and license

Dinner Found owns the app, its design, the built-in recipe catalog, and the features it provides. You keep ownership of the content you submit and give Dinner Found the limited license above to operate the community features.

Prohibited content

Don't submit content that is illegal, harmful, infringing, or that you don't have the right to share. Dinner Found may remove such content and may restrict accounts that repeatedly violate these Terms.

Suspension or termination

Dinner Found may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service. You can stop using Dinner Found and delete your account at any time.

Disclaimers

Dinner Found is provided "as is." Dinner Found doesn't promise the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any recipe or recommendation will be accurate, suitable, or safe. To the extent allowed by law, Dinner Found disclaims warranties about the service.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, Dinner Found is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including any outcome from cooking or eating a recipe Dinner Found suggested. You use Dinner Found at your own risk.

Subscription Terms

Dinner Found offers a 7-day free trial followed by a paid subscription. After the 7-day trial ends, the selected subscription automatically renews at the applicable rate unless canceled before the next billing date.

Current subscription options are:

  • •$5.99/month
  • •$59.99/year

Dinner Found does not offer a free plan after the trial. A valid payment method is required for the free trial. If the subscription is not canceled before the trial ends, the selected paid subscription will begin and the applicable charge will be processed.

The applicable price, trial period, renewal terms, and other subscription details will be presented at checkout before the customer is charged. Stripe processes subscription payments. Dinner Found does not store customers' full payment card information. The Subscription & Billing Terms page provides additional information about subscriptions, billing, cancellation, and refunds.

Cancellation and refunds

Customers may cancel their subscription at any time. Cancellation prevents the next renewal. If a customer cancels a paid subscription, access generally continues through the end of the already-paid billing period unless otherwise required by applicable law or stated in the Subscription & Billing Terms.

If a customer cancels during the 7-day free trial, the trial ends without a paid subscription charge, provided the cancellation occurs before the trial ends. Refund details are provided in the Subscription & Billing Terms.

Changes to the service and these Terms

Dinner Found may change or remove features and may update these Terms. When Terms change materially, Dinner Found will update the effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent that applicable law requires otherwise.
